What's happening at HOME?

HOME offers a variety of different meditation based activities. We'd like to share our discovery that meditation is not just something you do sitting silently on a cushion but is relevant to everything we do in our lives. We hope there's something that interests you.

From Monday to Friday, in our summer home at the Westergasfabriek villa, there will be guided meditation sessions in the morning and evening. These sessions are free and you can just turn up whenever you have time.

In addition, there will be a variety of short workshops where you can try out and apply meditation practically in contexts such as cycling, photography and dance.

If you want to learn a bit more about meditation, then we are offering three different evening courses.

If you'd like to dive a little deeper, you can come to one of our immersion days. There are also day long city retreats for when you just want to take a moment out of your hectic schedule, come home to yourself, and just be.

We will also have chance to come together and celebrate with occasional events where we can gather, eat good food and enjoy each other's company.

And if there's something we're not doing yet that you would like to happen then just let us know. We're always looking for new and exciting ways to bring meditation into everything we do.

Our Story

HOME was born when four experienced, international meditation teachers found themselves in Amsterdam. Connecting with two big hearted, successful Dutch entrepreneurs, a deep friendship began.

We all share the same dream of helping people to look after their own minds by sharing the essence of the practice of meditation in ways that are simple, accessible and relevant to our modern and often hectic lives.

We strongly believe that meditation can help everyone to find a little more space in their day, a little more presence, and a little more kindness - for ourselves and for others.

So, HOME began. It's a place where we can relax and be ourselves. A place to reconnect—with each other and with ourselves. A place where we can explore, grow, and come to understand our minds and hearts a little bit better. A place to wake up. A place to come home to ourselves and just be.

We hope you are inspired to join us as we begin this next chapter in our journey.

Davide is a passionate educator, trainer and mindfulness coach who has studied contemplative practices for 20 years, spending five years at a traditional Buddhist philosophy college in Nepal.

  Bram de Wit   Bram has trained in Buddhist philosophy and meditation since the age of 16. He enjoys making this knowledge and skill available in practical, down to earth ways, always  bringing a fresh viewpoint.

  Kimberly Poppe   An international meditation teacher, Kimberly leads courses, workshops & retreats and has been doing so worldwide for over 12 years.  Deeply respected for her clarity and  warmth, Kimberly was immersed in Buddhist study and practice for 20 years with some of the greatest Tibetan teachers of our time who personally trained her to teach. She has also studied with some of the leading scientists and pioneers of mindfulness, loving kindness and self-compassion in the world.

   Steve Cope    Steve is a teacher with 10 years of global experience. He holds classes and retreats in meditation and compassion practice and is particularly passionate about using technology to support meditation practice in all situations.

  Wouter Tavecchio   Wouter is founder and CEO of entertainment and media company, Q-Dance. Driven by a deep connection with spiritual practice he recently established Mandali retreat and meditation centre in Italy.
